Crush AI Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain language, what Crush AI collects when you use the site and the companion chat, why we hold it, how long it stays and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Who we areCrush AI operates this website and the companion chat experience described on it. Where this policy says “we” or “us”, it means the Crush AI team responsible for the service and for the personal data described below.
2. Scope of this policyThis policy covers information collected through the Crush AI website, the companion chat, account pages and any email we send you. It does not cover third-party sites you reach by following a link away from Crush AI.
3. AcceptanceBy creating a Crush AI account or using the chat you confirm that you have read this policy and understand how your information is handled. If you disagree with any part of it, please stop using the service.
4. Account informationWhen you register we collect an email address and an encrypted password. You may optionally add a display name. We never require your legal name, postal address or phone number to use Crush AI.
5. Age confirmationCrush AI is for adults only. During registration you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We remove accounts that we reasonably believe belong to minors.
6. Conversation contentMessages you exchange with a companion are stored so the conversation can continue across sessions. Conversation content is linked to your account and is not shown to other users.
7. Companion memorySelected details from your chats form a memory profile that helps a companion stay consistent. You can clear a companion's memory at any time from the chat settings, which deletes that profile.
8. Technical dataWe record standard technical information such as browser type, device category, approximate region derived from IP address, and timestamps of requests. This is used for security and reliability.
9. CookiesCrush AI uses cookies that keep you signed in, remember interface preferences and measure aggregate traffic. You can block cookies in your browser, though sign-in will stop working if you do.
10. AnalyticsWe use aggregated analytics to understand which pages are visited and where people leave. Analytics data is examined in groups and is not used to build advertising profiles of individuals.
11. Payment dataCard details are entered on the payment provider's systems and are never stored by Crush AI. We keep only the plan name, billing status and the invoice reference.
12. Why we process dataWe process personal data to run your account, deliver the chat, prevent abuse, meet legal duties, handle billing and improve the service. Each activity has a lawful basis under applicable data protection law.
13. Consent and withdrawalWhere processing depends on consent, such as optional marketing email, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting anything done before withdrawal.
14. Service providersWe share limited data with hosting, email delivery, payment and security providers who act on our instructions under contract. They may not use Crush AI data for their own purposes.
15. International transfersOur providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
16. No sale of personal dataCrush AI does not sell personal information and does not share conversation content with advertisers, data brokers or affiliate networks.
17. RetentionAccount and conversation data is retained while your account is active. After deletion, records are removed from live systems within thirty days and from encrypted backups within ninety days.
18. Security measuresWe use encryption in transit, hashed credentials, restricted internal access and routine review of our systems. No online service can promise perfect security, but we treat these controls as a minimum.
19. Data breach handlingIf a breach affects your personal data and creates a meaningful risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority within the timeframe required by law.
20. Your access rightsYou may request a copy of the personal data Crush AI holds about you, including the conversation history attached to your account.
21. Correction and deletionYou may correct inaccurate details from your account page and request full deletion of your account and its data at any time.
22. Restriction and objectionWhere the law provides it, you may ask us to restrict certain processing or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
23. PortabilityOn request we provide your account data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable file.
24. Automated decisionsCrush AI does not make legally significant decisions about you by automated means. Companion replies are generated content, not decisions about your rights.
25. Marketing communicationsProduct email is optional. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects essential account notices.
26. ChildrenThe service is not directed to anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has registered, the account and its data are deleted.
27. Third-party linksPages on Crush AI may link to external sites. Those sites have their own policies and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
28. Fictional charactersAll companions are invented characters and all portraits are generated. No profile on Crush AI represents a real, identifiable person, and no personal data of any third party is used to create them.
29. ComplaintsIf you believe your data has been mishandled, contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence.
30. Changes to this policyWe may update this policy as the service develops. Material changes are announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email before they take effect.
